Just returned home from Portland Oregon. Spine sugary went fine. Cadaver bones to replace the damaged ones,titanium plates and screws to hold everything together. Then fused.
I am grumpy,tired and in pain but glad to be back home.
Thank to all of my wonderful Millwright Brothers and Sisters that have said prayers and left kind messages. They worked.

If you only new how bad? Wait till you are the Super and you call out 100 millwrights out of a mixed hall. 90 percent will be nail benders. Ask where are your levels and they will show you a two foot level. I sent 85% back to the hall. The B.A. called me ever name but Millwright. I called the international and said the hall could not man the job. We had a international agreement. Then I called BOOMERS by name
Mixed halls are the worst. There should be no MIXED halls in the Millwrights.
That is why they went to the international Millwright card. This was supposed to help but the wood butchers got around that.
I do not care how good a carpenters is at his job but when I need a MILLWRIGHT. Send me a Millwright. If I need a carpenter? I will call for one. The only Steward I ever fired in 37 years was a carpwright. He was not Qualified to carry a Millwrights tools.
I also believe in the Millwright Apprenticeship not in selling books.

Millwrights do not recognize Labors.
Carpenters do!
Millwrights do not have a single agreement with labors union.The carpenters let them pack lumber,clean up after them,strip forms,fire watch,open crates,drive forklifts,bring scaffold parts,carpenters helpers,etc.
This at one time was worked done by the Carpenters.

Workers Fired

This report finds a steep rise in illegal firings of pro-union workers in the 2000s relative to the last half of the 1990s. It uses published data from the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) to update an index of the probability that a pro-union worker will be fired in the course of a union election campaign. By 2005, pro-union workers involved in union election campaigns faced about a 1.8 percent chance of being illegally fired during the course of the campaign. If we assume that employers target union organizers and activists, and that union organizers and activists make up about 10 percent of pro-union workers, our estimates suggest that almost one-in-five union organizers or activists can expect to be fired as a result of their activities in a union election campaign.
